Cleaners Get To Work On LIPA Dirty Laundry

By Scott Lewis, May 18, 2016

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — Thursday, May 12, 2016, Sen. Kenneth LaValle (R-Port Jefferson) and Assemb. Fred Thiele Jr. (I- Sag Harbor) introduced a bill that would require the election of Long Island Power Authority (LIPA) trustees. Point of fact: the law is on the books but it is unenforced by Gov. Cuomo, and the County Supervisors. Greg Fischer, Business Strategist, Scott Lewis, Energy Expert and Investment Adviser, among others, tested the law by collecting the necessary signatures for the Board of Elections (BOE) to take action in 2012. Rather than do the BOE duty of placing them on the ballot; the BOE chose not to put them on it as the law prescribes. Consequently, a lawsuit ensued. The following courts ruled against the people: Riverhead Supreme Court, NYS Appeals Court, and the Islip Federal Court.

Furthermore, if anyone one of them (i.e. Executives in State Government), consent to ELECTED LIPA TRUSTEES by way of Fischer/Lewis/Jurow v. NYS Board of Elections EDNY CV-12-5397 lawsuit, there would be no need for further state legislative action or approvals. Long Island would have OPEN CITIZEN GOVERNANCE of LIPA by way of Elected Trustees.

In addition, on Friday, May 13, 2016, U.S. Dept. of Justice contacted Mr. Lewis to inform them of a FOIL request submission into EDNY CV-12-5397 case by Statecraft Attorney Kory Langhofer, ESQ. His duty is to advise clients on election, civil rights and constitutional matters, and Gov’t investigators and enforcement proceedings. The outcome is to be determined.

Regardless, it is about time the Senator and Assemblyman got to work against the Albany controlled local electric company (i.e. LIPA) and the laundry list of complaints sited by Newsday’s article titled, “Reviewing LIPA Reform” dated Tuesday, May 17, 2016.

The four insurgent ratepayers -- an energy expert, a business strategist (Greg Fischer), union president, and an attorney --- and growing; continue to strive for more truths by way of election law for JUSTICE, and to create elected oversight of LIPA in an effort to change our power, and gas, distribution system to Municipal Power Companies. In addition, open the door to free enterprise.
